Activities of the 113rd “Made in Syria” Shopping Festival are to kick off at Al-Mazra’a Sport city in the Syrian province of Sweida with the participation of 100 local companies.

This economic and social event is organized by the Chamber of Industry of Damascus and its countryside in cooperation with the Sweida Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Samer Al-Dibs, Chairman of the Chamber of Industry of Damascus and its countryside, told reporters that, through its tours in a number of Syrian provinces, the “Made in Syria” shopping festival aims at delivering national products directly to consumers at suitable prices, noting the Chamber’s keenness, as in the past years, on providing free purchase cards to martyrs’ families.

On his part, Talal Qal’aji, Chairman of the festival’s organizing committee, said that the festival will present a diversity of goods representing all industries, including the food, clothes and chemical industries, with good discounts and suitable offers by the participating companies.

The festival's activities will continue until February 16th.

The festival was first launched in April 2015. Throughout the past years, it toured the provinces of Damascus and its countryside as well as Aleppo, Lattakia, Tartous, Homs, Hama, Deir Ezzor, Daraa and Sweida.
